Reversible Recycled Wool Car Coat

Our tailored car coat is crafted for a reversible finish with a combination of a quilted twill with a tumbled finish and subtle sheen from a Japanese mill and recycled double-face wool from an Italian mill. It’s draped along custom sleeves that combine the sleek look of a dolman sleeve with the subtlety of a raglan sleeve to achieve a relaxed silhouette. This style is detailed with a pointed collar, slip, and patch pockets.

We are committed to making a positive impact on the people who wear our clothes, our industry, and our planet, beginning with our fabrics. Our Recycled Wool is produced by the innovative Manteco mill in Prato, Italy. This fabric is created by repurposing the finest pre and post-consumer luxury wool garments and scraps, which are processed by color so no extra dye and less water are used in the process.

Informed by his Dutch upbringing and a deep appreciation of architecture, Paris-based fashion designer Lucas Ossendrijver has worked with some of the most influential European fashion houses. He brings his innovative construction techniques to Theory Project—a special collection that expands on Theory’s design codes. This fall, Ossendrijver brings another layer of purpose to the collection through functional and thoughtful details.
